Kids at the Heart of the Recipe.

Zoom Hydrate’s children-focused development brief shaped the thinking behind the drink—not just the front of the bottle.

When does hydration need an Electrolyte conversation?

Sweating means losing fluid and some electrolytes. During prolonged vigorous activity—particularly with heavy sweating in hot conditions—replacing both may become relevant. The right choice depends on the child, the conditions and the amount lost.

For ordinary school days and everyday play, plain water remains the first choice. Zoom Hydrate offers a flavoured drink containing electrolytes; it is not a replacement for regular water, balanced meals or an oral rehydration solution used during illness.

A parent’s quick guide: water or electrolytes?

Water for Every Day

For everyday hydration and light activity under about an hour, choose water. For sustained vigorous activity over about an hour, especially with heavy sweating in heat or humidity, carbohydrates, sodium and potassium may be useful alongside regular fluid intake. Duration is a guide: intensity, conditions, sweating and individual needs matter too.

Where Zoom Hydrate Fits

It contains carbohydrates, sodium and potassium, plus magnesium—a flavoured option when those nutrients are relevant, not better everyday hydration than water. Use the nutrition information to guide your choice. One bottle does not guarantee complete replacement of fluid or electrolytes, or replace balanced meals or an oral rehydration solution used during illness.
